Akron Rifle Sets Sights of Trio of Ranked Opponents

AKRON, Ohio - The 17th-rated University of Akron rifle team travels Columbus for an 2:30 p.m. showdown with No. 10 Murray State, No. 12 UTEP and No. 14 Ohio State on Saturday (Nov. 8).

Senior Natalia Siek (Flemington, N.J.) maintains team-high averages of 1177.50, 587.83 and 589.67, respectively, in the combined, smallbore and air rifles.

The entire Akron roster is slated to compete for the Zips against the Racers, Miners and Buckeyes.

Akron will follow its match traveling to Annapolis, Md., to battle No. 7 Navy on Saturday (Nov. 15).
