The Wolverines come into Tuesday's contest with a 17-14 overall record and a 4-5 record at Ray Fisher Stadium.
Michigan is coming off a 2-2 week that featured wins over Eastern Michigan and a 12-11 win over No. 15 Oregon to conclude a conference series.
Four players recorded multiple hits in the win over the Ducks, including Colby Turner, who tripled and homered as part of a five-RBI game. Matt Spear recorded his first career triple, scoring once and driving in two. Jeter Ybarra added a two-run home run, and Mitch Voit reached base five times, scoring three runs. Kurt Barr started on the mound and struck out six in 4.1 innings.
Benny Casillas leads Michigan in batting average (.408) this season. Voit holds the lead in hits (44), doubles (13), RBI (35), walks (26) and stolen bases (10). Seven players have hit a triple while Cole Caruso holds the lead in home runs (9).
On the mound, Ricky Kidd leads the way in ERA (2.45) while Tate Carey is the leader in wins (4). Barr is the leader in strikeouts (25, Davis Lally Jr. is the leader in innings pitched (40.1) and Will Rogers is the leader in saves (5).

The Zips are coming off a 2-2 week that featured a pair of wins over Toledo. Akron enters Tuesday's contest with a 9-22 overall record and a 4-11 record on the road.
Akron took the first game of the series with Toledo 5-2 after taking an early 2-0 lead. Evan Bottone drove in two runs on Friday. Sunday saw the Zips take a 1-0 victory over the Rockets behind Jack Kelley's eight innings of scoreless baseball while Johnny Anservitz collected his third save of the season.
Max Bowman is leading the Zips in batting average (.33) and walks (26). Evan Bottone leads Akron in hits (39) and is tied for the lead in stolen bases with Jack Poist (10). Andrew Horvath leads the way in doubles (11) while Blake Bowen is the leader in home runs (5) and RBI (23).
On the mound, Jack Kelley leads the staff in wins (2). Jared Schaeffer is the leader in strikeouts (44) and innings pitched (46.2). Johnny Anservitz holds the high mark in saves (3)
KELLEY NAMED PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Jack Kelley from the University of Akron baseball team was named the Mid-American Conference Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday, April 7.
Kelley is the second Zip to earn a weekly award this season, joining Jack Poist who was named Player of the Week twice this season.
Jack threw a season-high eight innings against Toledo in the second game of a doubleheader on Sunday, April 6. Over those eight innings, he allowed no runs while striking out seven Rockets to help the Zips earn a 1-0 victory and claim the series over Toledo.
WHAT'S NEXT?
The Zips return home to host Central Michigan for a three-game conference series starting on Friday, April 11. The Zips recorded their first season sweep of the Chippewas in program history last season.
