AKRON, Ohio – Akron softball is back at Lee R. Jackson Field for six games, starting with a doubleheader against Bowling Green on Tuesday, April 1 at 1 and 3 p.m.
WHAT'S AHEAD
Akron opens a six-game homestand with Bowling Green on Tuesday, followed by a weekend seris against Ohio on Saturday and Sunday, April 5-6 and ending up with a nonconference bout against Dayton on Tuesday, April 8.

The Zips have four players batting above .300 as Meagan Lee leads the way with a .352 batting average. Lee owns a team-best 38 hits in 108 at bats with two triples, three doubles and seven RBI. Alexis Campbell follows with a .333 average, batting 34-for-102 with two homeruns, one triple and four doubles, generating a 23 RBI. Sophia Wygast is third in average at .333 with 33 hits, five homeruns and team high 27 RBI. The final player batting above .300 is Brooke Sivek (.305) with 32 hits, 26 runs scored and six RBI.
